Lead by sTo Len and Sarah Cameron Sunde in 2021, the Works on Water HYDROFESTO  is an offering to  kin near and dear and far and wide. The text for this letterpress print was conceived through many fruitful conversations acknowledging what Works on Water strives to embody with its work on, in, and with Water.   The text of the HYDROFESTO reads:

We are BODIES OF WATER and maintain solidarity and kinship with all Water Bodies worldwide.

We are GENRE FLUID and embody Water's form to create interdisciplinary works made on, in, and  with Water.

We are SOCIALLY ENGAGED with our multispecies communities in participatory EXPERIENTIAL ways.

We beliee WATER ART is uniquely positioned to repair our broken relationships with the natural world and respond to the urgency of the climate crisis.

We work with bodies of WATER AS SITE to reimagine and reclaim the hyrdocommons for all.

We work with WATER AS COLLABORATOR to guide our research and share the creative process in a cultre of reciprocity.

We work with the physicality of WATER AS MEDIUM to redefine the art world’s definition of material and reject the anthropocentrism of extractive Capitalism.

We build rhizomatic WATER ART NETWORKS to invigoratecollectivity and connectivity, locally and globally.

We declare Water Art the ENVIRONMENTAL ART OF THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY!!
